Qualifications: LTA Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Tennis, Ba (Hons) Leisure and Sport Management, First Aid Certified and CRB checked.
Groups Coached: Mini Tennis, Junior Tennis, Performance, Individuals and Adults.
Player History: James started playing aged 5 years and began to represent Buckinghamshire LTA from 8 years through to 18 years old. During which he gained selection for 4 consecutive U18 County Cup events.
Player Highlights: James reached the last 32 in the British Junior Nationals at U14 level. He also maintained a 3 year unbeaten record in the University of Brighton’s Men’s Tennis Team in B.U.S.A. divisions 1 & 2.
Coaching Ethos: James’ coaching style is aimed at bringing each athlete to their highest potential and hopefully allowing them success in competition. This success will be achieved with 100% effort from player and coach enhancing your technical, tactical and physical attributes on court in a fun and motivating manner.
Coaching Ambition: James is looking forward to the challenge of discovering and developing elite performers within the club and local community from a grass roots level right up to performance tennis.

Head Coach: Caroline Care
Qualifications: LTA Level 4 Certificate in Coaching Tennis, First Aid Certified and DBS checked.
Groups Coached: Tot’s, Mini’s, Junior’s, Adult’s and Schools Tennis.
Player History: Caroline started playing tennis aged 11 and progressed into representing Buckinghamshire at a Junior and Senior level. From U12 to U18 she was everpresent in the County set up included in all training and team events. This led onto her competing at the National Grass Court Championships in Eastbourne.
Player Highlights: Caroline became U18 Girls County Champion and also won the County Open (Adult) Ladies Doubles events. As Girls U12 County Captain, she led the team to the National Finals where they finished runners-up.
Coaching Ethos: IT’S FUN!!! Caroline aims to complete all sessions with a high energy level promoting a fruitful and rewarding lesson for all. She has gained an extremely large bank of coaching knowledge through her career and is able to pick out the correct techniques to suit each individual.
Coaching Ambition: Caroline would like to continue pushing to ensure Aylesbury Tennis Club develops into a strong Performance club with children competing at a high level. She would also like to see more home grown players taking part in tournaments and events. However, she still wants to build from the base and increase the number of children playing tennis each week, from beginners through to competition.
Coach: Emily Weller
Qualifications: LTA Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Tennis, Working with disabilities tennis, BA (Hons) Sports Industry Management, Equality and Diversity, First Aid Certified and DBS checked.
Groups Coached: Tots, Mini’s and Wheelchair Tennis.
Player History: Emily started playing at the age of 8 and represented Bucks LTA through to the age of 18. She now plays for Bucks in the Over 35 County Team.
Player Highlights: Representing the South of England as a junior.
Coaching Ethos: Emily’s ethos is aimed at providing players with the skills and motivation to achieve their potential.
Coaching Ambition: She would like to continue coaching in and around Aylesbury and build upon the great success she has already achieved with the Wheelchair Tennis Programme at our club.
Assisstant Coach: Ethan Jackson
Qualifications: LTA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Tennis, First Aid Certified and DBS checked.
Groups Coached: Tot’s, Mini’s, Junior’s and Adult Tennis.
Player History: Ethan began playing at a young age here at Aylesbury and was selected for multiple junior county teams as and was able to win a couple of Grade 3 events.
Player Highlights: Reaching the quaterfinals of Boodles.
Coaching Ethos: Ethan likes to work hard, giving it 100% and having fun at the same time.
Coaching Ambition: He would like coach players and watch their development so that they can play at a higher level gradually.
Assisstant Coach: Megan Riley
Qualifications: First Aid Certified and CRB checked.
Groups Coached: Tot’s, Mini’s and Junior Tennis.
Player History: Megan only began to play tennis competitively in 2016. However she has already been selected to represent Aylesbury Tennis Club in the Junior Aegon event and Adult Ladies team.
Player Highlights: Megan’s first competitve singles match ended in a convincing victory in singles and doubles. This record will continue to grow as she develops into a fine tennis player. However, her greatest achievements come in skiing where she is rated as one of Britains best Junior skiers. Currently she hold the title of U18 ‘English Champion’. She had to compete in Bormio, Italy, against 100 other people including professional racer.
Coaching Ethos: Megan enjoys heping out with all ages of player, but she loves working with the tiny tots to give them an eciting start to their tennis participation. She is able to impart all knowledge she gains in her own lessons and relay it at a level for the younger ones to understand.
Coaching Ambition: Megan would like to achieve as many coching qualifications as her time will allows, spread between tennis and skiing.
